Boonsboro Historical Society

Open the 4th Sunday of each month April to October from 2-4:30pm! Founded in March of 1970, the Boonsboro Historical Society, is officially chartered with the purpose to preserve for posterity the heritage of the Boonsboro area. The Society is headquartered at the Bowman House, formerly owned by John Bowman, an early Boonsboro potter. The Bowman House is also a museum with events to demonstrate open hearth cooking and other historical practices. It is open the 4th Sunday of each month April to October from 2-4:30 pm and by appointment by emailing us [email protected].
