Daniel Humphries-Russ

As a photographer, I seek the extraordinary in ordinary places, for things overlooked, for that which we fail to see in the world around us. I work close to my subjects using available light and wide-angle lenses. I invite the viewer in and encourage them to come close to my photographs. In documenting the commonplace, I seek archetypal American images.
