Emily Lee is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in family practice. In 2003, she graduated from Howard Community College with an Associate's degree in nursing and was awarded the Gail Heithlinger Nursing Award of Excellence. She began working at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the neurology and neuro-trauma intermediate care department, as well as the epilepsy monitoring unit. Following her time at Johns Hopkins, she went onto provide comprehensive home care through MedStar Visiting Nurses Association. In 2007, she returned to University of Maryland to pursue a double degree and entered into the RN to MSN program. In 2009, she earned her BS in nursing and attained Summa Cum Laude honors.
