Fairfax Materials, Inc. is the regional leader in crushed aggregate and aggregate-based building materials. Fairfax has three operating limestone quarries in Scherr & Petersburg WV, and one sandstone quarry in Thomas, WV. Fairfax Materials also has four ready-mix batch plants; one in Oakland, MD, with the other three in Parsons, Scherr and Thomas, West Virginia. Fairfax Materials is State Certified in both Maryland and West Virginia in Ready-mix. All of our quarries are certified with the West Virginia Department of Highways. Fairfax also produces Lightweight, Regular, and Split face CMU’s. Fairfax has grown a reputation of being able to handle any size job, as well as taking care of the smallest of home owners.
