Hancock Historical Society

The Hancock Historical Society was incorporated in 1986, and the Hancock Museum opened a year later. The museum exhibits town history and transportation, housing a large library of genealogy files, business memorabilia, and newspaper archives. Displays are changed throughout the year and, during the holidays, feature a selection of antique Christmas cards from local families dating back several generations.
