James Gilbert, MD

Dr. James Gilbert is a board-certified Orthopedics surgeon, who specializes in Sports Medicine. He is also proud to serve in the Medical Officer Corp Reserves for the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander, providing orthopedic care to our nation’s soldiers, veterans and their dependents. Dr. Gilbert has been in practice for 25 years and has served as a head team physician for many professional sports teams including US Soccer, DC United, The Washington Spirit and the Professional Bull Riders (PBR). He is passionate about taking care of all athletes, professional and recreational, and his goal is to keep all patients active and living a healthy lifestyle.
