Founded in 1939 as a small casket jobber located in the heart of Washington, D.C., Thacker Caskets has grown to become the largest family owned casket company in the United States! Thacker employs a business to business selling model, selling caskets to licensed funeral directors throughout the east coast and independent casket distributors from coast to coast. Keeping true to their principals, Thacker aims to provide an honest product at an honest price. Thacker Casket Manufacturing, located in Florence, Alabama, employs approximately 200 Alabama and Tennessee workers who carefully craft Thacker's metal casket line.
