The Winchester School

The Winchester School is a family-owned and operated school in Silver Spring since 1970. Winchester has classes for children ages 3 through second grade and uses a developmentally appropriate approach to teaching, which includes hands-on materials, and exposes students to art, music, Spanish, math, science and language arts. By partnering with families, we provide a structured, nurturing, academic-rich environment in which our students can acquire the skills, knowledge and values that will help them develop as life-long learners.
