The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is the nation’s federal health professions academy—akin to the undergraduate programs of the U.S. military academies. Its students are primarily active duty officers and enlisted servicemembers in the Army, Navy, Air Force or Public Health Service, and its emphasis on military health care, leadership, readiness and public health sets USU apart. USU is comprised of four schools: The Hebert School of Medicine with its MD and Graduate Programs and Post-bac Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program, Inouye Graduate School of Nursing, Postgraduate Dental College, and College of Allied Health Sciences. USU's research portfolio and Centers support the readiness of our troops.
