On a 23 acre farm in Maryland, we raise Angora Goats and Merino Sheep for their fiber. No pesticides are used on the farm and the sheep and goats are pasture fed. We wash, dye and card most of the fiber on the farm and create traditional and art yarns for fiber artists - knitters, crocheters and weavers; batts for spinners and felters; and a variety of finished goods. Some fiber is sent to a local mill to be turned into roving and mill spun yarn. Our products are sold in our shop, a renovated bank-barn that was built in the 1800s. Visitors to the farm are welcome to get a tour and meet the sheep and goats as well as try their hand on the various equipment (spinning wheels, looms, needle felting machine) that we have.
